Our Story
Christian and Rachel met at work where we both began in the same role. Over the course of 9 months, Christian avoided his work responsibilities in an effort to see Rachel as much as possible. It was worthwhile, after impressing each other with our Kickball prowess we began dating in 2019. Recognizing a need for us each to grow, we were apart for almost a year, which we now fondly call “The Interim”. In late 2021, we took a big step and both of us found the love and support we always saw in each other. In January of 2024, we got engaged in New Zealand and could not be more excited in this next step in our lives together.
Christian’s Story
Christian was raised in Monument, CO with his parents, three older sisters and younger brother. His friends, love of the mountains and reliance on the Colorado Sunshine made the decision to stay easy. For fun, he enjoys playing games especially Pathfinder with friends, camping, skiing, reading and building Lego.
Rachel’s Story
Rachel grew up in a small town in Southeastern Connecticut with her eight siblings and two loving parents. She moved to Colorado in 2013 where she is now a NICU nurse in Denver and part-time freelance cellist. She loves her job, her friends, photography, reading, skiing, and spending time in the mountains she fell in love with.
